She was killed because she stood up for what she believed in. She was the designated believer that stood up for Christ. The film portrayed this in an honest and powerful way. The example of her faith and courage touched millions.

Revenge seems such a sweet word
But in real life, it hurts.
Not just the one it is being taken out on
But also on the one who takes it.
It seems such a good idea at the time
But it does not heal any wounds.
It only creates more in you and others.
Watch your thoughts for they can take you captive.
Watch what you hear
For inspiration does not always come from Good.
Sometimes it comes from the one that wants to see you fail.
No matter if you believe in him or not.
Revenge does not lead to justice.
Only speaking up does.
Your voice is a more powerful weapon
Than any weapon formed.
The only weapon more powerful is prayer.
